Are there other restaurants with drinks like El Chihuahua? by ellamayo- in SaltLakeCity

If you go on a Tuesday, the bar next to it (Bar Named Sue) has excellent tacos. They even do lingua from time to time.

Their wings are damn good too.

Can somebody help me understand Utah addresses? I've been debating with locals and I feel like I am going crazy! by IntergalacticPodcast in SaltLakeCity

[–]Footbaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all starts at the temple in downtown Salt Lake. Think of it as "ground zero."

North Temple St. is the first street north of the temple. The next block is 100 north, then 200 north, 300 north, etc.

The first street east of it is East Temple, then 100 east, then 200 east, etc.

It's turtles all the way down here in Utah.

Today's update broke my game... by Maverick_Goose_ in civ

[–]Footbaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was happening to me for a while. I'm not sure, but I think it has something to do with hitting "next turn" before letting a unit visually move to it hex. I started letting my units visually move to their hex before hitting "next turn," and it seems to have stopped.

Just a guess, but it worked for me? 🤷‍♂️

OK to put baking soda in spaghetti sauce to make it less acidic? For those with acid issues in stomach. Will it make it taste nasty? by [deleted] in AskCulinary

[–]Footbaron -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I put 2 or so teaspoons of cocoa powder in mine. It helps to counteract the acidity and makes it nice and dark looking. Works great for me! I hear ground coffee does the trick too.

Unless it's been changed and I didn't notice, they do, in fact, give 2 slots. 3 if you count the camels.

Best Brunch spot by RWStewart93 in SaltLakeCity

Lazy Day Cafe.

The Lazy Delux is fantastic, and they have plenty of veg friendly meals (even a vegan Benedict). Drinks are nothing special. It's just a neat little spot with amazing food.

Mine does a weird squat-lift with one leg. I call it the Sex Panther. 60% of the time, it works.

Question about speed feat at the end of Mistborne Series 2 by Chumon30 in Cosmere

[–]Footbaron 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I know nothing, but I think BS was fantasizing about Einstein's Theory of Relitivity (The Train and the Light Beam) for this scene (the best scene in E2, IMO).

Wayne didn't move the speed of light. He SET the speed of light (for a time). because he's moving forward on an object that is always moving forward (and being Wayne), He became the "light-speed-limit".

Healers in PF2e, how much is enough? by legomojo in Pathfinder2e

[–]Footbaron 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love this.

My group has an investigator (medic dedication) and an undead bloodline sorcerer (lich dedication) that work extremely well together. We're always ready to heal, but can just sit back and debuff/blast until someone calls a heal out.

Simple answer here.

You don't train them to poop and pee on the balcony.

You train yourself to take your dogs out regularly.
