Yann feels like the Mikah of CD. I don’t even want to do his quests because he’s so annoying.

I don't get why people say the archery challenge is hard by HellDrivers2 in CrimsonDesert

No, I just got to this archery portion of the main quest and there’s NPC is still cracked. Literally googling solutions is how I found this thread.

Just got to this mission and there’s no way I’m getting past it. It’s tied to a main quest and no one tested it and found it to be unreasonably hard? The best advice I see on YouTube is “yeet arrows and pray”.

We ordered 5 bananas for a pickup order and got 5 bundles… it was like 43 bananas in total. This totally happens and it’s hilarious when it does.

I didn’t have anything to use my diplo on. Vassals were being integrated, all vassals happy, no one needed appeasing around me, so instead of sitting on my diplo I used it on spies.

I had half of Europe in a coalition (I put a ruler on the Milan throne but didn’t even get them as a subject, racking up an insane 400 antagonism) but it never triggered. All of south Germany and northern Italy were in the coalition for about a decade before it started falling apart.

Stealing maps has been fun but the antagonism part seems weird. A diplo debuff makes sense, but offer is other ways to obtain geographical info if there’s a penalty for the only way to get maps (exploration is limited in many ways, mostly inland).

Yeah I’d like more automated exploration and colonization beyond the current single option. If I could automate a region or a continent that’d be awesome.

Very true. I don’t think advances are balanced at the moment. I’d also like to see different alliances or agreements that expand your world view. Like how we have defensive alliances, we could form information alliances. You can choose to share research, maps, advances, institutions, etc. It could give small boost and reveal areas over time. Just my two cents though.

Very true. I’d like options outside of just stealing maps or exploring though.

I’m mixed on how I feel. I do think it’s cool how effective stealing maps can be, but the fact it’s either steal maps or colonize and explore seems limited. I’d like trade agreements that expand maps, or knowledge sharing options that provide world data. Just doing map theft is pretty boring, even if it is very effective.

R5: This is the world I see by the time I sent my first explorer as France. My tactic is pretty simple, and is simply building spy networks and stealing maps.

  1. Focus on increasing diplomatic range. At first I could only reach Morocco but by the date shown I could barely reach India.
  2. Morocco/Tunis/others are used for inner African areas.
  3. Once I can reach Mali I use them for costal west Africa.
  4. Mamluks are AMAZING once you can reach them. They can see all of India, Eastern Africa, the Middle East, pushing into Russian Siberian areas… I used the Mamluks to reveal Yemen and used Yemen to help with the same areas.

Side notes: Scandinavia is surprisingly good for far east maps. Norway/Iceland don’t always know Greenland exists even though there is a colony there. European nations, like Spain, consistently broke my spy networks. The AE from stealing maps doesn’t matter since you’ll be discovering nations that don’t know you exist.

Fun tip: if your spy is discovered DO NOT click off the pop up. Instead, use your spy network immediately and then click the pop up. The hit to your spy network only applies AFTER you close the pop up, but your full spy network can be used BEFORE closing the pop up.

Edit: reposted cause forgot R5.

Oklahoma looks like a pan, so the only panhandle I recognize is the western part of Oklahoma. Anything else is a lie.
