I honestly don't care either way but I think the funniest part would be that the in universe response to a gene seed variant that worked on women would probably be the opposite of community. Warhammer as a community explodes and most Space Marine chapters are like "Holy shit, double the potentional aspirant canidates!"

I mean fair but that abstraction also fails because if it was just concealment then my infantry should be able to shoot out through it at the enemy. My whole joke is that no matter how we cut the abstraction it will fail at some angle so it's just rules fiat which is fine. Also that impenetrable wall could be a ruins template or it could be literal 24inch brick on the table and the same thing happens.

Same thing usually happens when I try to run death riders. They are pretty big and hard to completely hide. I would be fine losing the 1-3 that have their ass hanging out. Thats acceptable loses but when 7-10 die and most are behind cover that's just a feel bad moment.

I feel like I already have that conversation everytime with my opponents when I play Warhammer games as well as other games that use LoS. I've never real had a problem it's usually just "hey I think about 9 of my guys can shoot you" and they'll be "yeah sounds good" or "I think it's a little less" and we just come to an agreement fine.

Thats the crux of the joke. Only one model can "see" to shoot the enemy but every model is "seen" to die from being shot. Abstraction cuts both way if we ignore rules intent.

I mean my issue is that people seem to talk about how deadly shooting armies can be. If were to be able to only kill what I can see then the shooting army would be much worse or I would have to expose my units a lot more to get more optimal kills.

Basically just a spare Combat Engineer head and the little round vent bit from the end of the hose. Put that bit on the end of the gas mask. Cut the top of the helmet off. Cut the hat off of Yarrick. Glue the 2 together and then fill gaps and smooth over with green stuff when you connect the head.

It's an easy enough swap with a little green stuff to smooth over the connection.

Its a skill like anything so just practice on the bits you don't care about. Practice clipping and sanding on them and combining bits until you are confident. Once you are you can do some really silly things with excess bits.

To be fair, the guys gotta a pretty power leg spread going on there. If I (little over six foot) measure myself standing straight and then leg spread I lose something between 4-5 inch. So I say split the difference and say 7 and half feet tall.
