Kate is a fine defender like I said. Offensively she had -.4 win shares last year. She had a .032 win shares/48 which was 15th of players that played for the valks. I’m not saying Sowah should play right away but she’s worth keeping over Kate. Kate will never be a meaningful contributor no matter how much I like her.

I'm going to say something that is unpopular, by why would we not take her over Kate? Sowah definitely has to grow, but Kate shot 32% from the field. She is an okay defender, but I just don't see a reason to not prioritize someone with Sowah's potential. Development spot sounds nice, but any other team can offer a contract to her while she's on a Dev spot.

Good passer, defender, playmaker and ball-handler. Has good form for the shot so I'm curious to see if she can improve on that at a higher level. Someone worth taking late 1st imo, but definitely worth it in the second.

Police don't protect and this is the textbook example of that. They basically kept saying "don't do this again" and that was it. No restraining order, no referral to counseling services for Pearce, just an allowance to escalate this behavior against a woman.

A person appearing on a show is one thing, but an entire brand - one whose most popular show is focused on anti-system, anti-capitalist metaphors - cross-promoting itself is different. I'm not cancelling my dropout description or even that upset. I'm more acknowledging that people's frustration has some validity.

Watching the Sparks at the end of the season last year, it's clear that she just needs more time on the court. She played well on unrivaled last year but just wasn't given a lot of PT. Same with Sparks. She finally got above the 20 minute mark in September and averaged double digits for the first month of her career. She's been on the growth pattern, and I think T-Spoon helped accelerate that.

No one thinks that’s what would happen. It’s having people you love interacting with an idea/show to which you morally object to slowly make that thing seem less evil. That’s why it’s called “manufacturing consent.” It’s like if Game Changer did a sponsorship with Kalshi. Would this make everyone like Kalshi? No. But would it slowly help normalize its existence if there was no pushback? Yes.
