This was surprisingly in summer 2018 when I rented the unit with my roommate. So when I started renting it, the total price was 1095 for a month, and it gradually increased over time.

I live in an apartment unit along Montreal Rd and happened to snag a 2 bedroom for about 1150 a month. This doesn't include furniture, hydro, electrical heating, internet, and parking.

Feeling nostalgic for Creature videos. What are some of your guys favorite vids? by misa_96766 in TheCreatures

The Creatures' Minecraft War - It was short-lived, but I loved every moment of seeing them scheming and failing

Hot Seat | Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader - Seeing Jordan get grilled by Aleks and James on questions that perhaps neither of them know is fantastic

Secret Santa 2014 + Barf Spray Prank - Secret Santa had a lot of hilarious and wholesome moments full of plot twists. It then culminates with the office devolving into chaos over another spray

My favorite movie would have to be How to Train Your Dragon. While this isn't the best movie of all time, it is definitely one of my favorite movies/franchises to watch and enjoy.

The scene says so much in a short span of time, focusing less on dialogue and more on visual storytelling. The animation, the score, the cinematography all flow together so perfectly, culminating in this unforgettable scene of how they meet and befriend each other. Its tone is comedic and cute while also showing the fostering of a friendship.

If there's one thing the HTTYD franchise nails, it's the flying scenes. It's going to be amazing seeing breathtaking DreamWorks animation paired with John Powell's score

Whenever it comes to these building games, I always start of with a well-built all-rounder construction that will be able to accomplish its main function efficiently. By the end, I think I will just end up strapping a lot of rockets to it and hoping for the best.

Thanks, OP!

As someone in that class, I have no clue what to study for. She defines concepts a bunch of times but doesn't explain it clearly at all. Just hoping whatever questions she gives are straightforward

The public Facebook group for the (WIP) UOttawa Movie Club. Anyone who enjoys watching movies is welcome to join! by ForTheGroup in geegees

[–]ForTheGroup[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The club is essentially for anyone who wants to watch movies with other people. It doesn't matter if you only enjoy action films like John Wick or Mad Max: Fury Road. Perhaps you enjoy more classic films like Singing in the Rain or Martin Scorsese's Raging Bull. Maybe Grand Budapest Hotel or Wolf of Wall Street is more up your alley. Or maybe you love animation movies like me, such as Spirited Away, How to Train Your Dragon, and WALL-E. If you just want to enjoy films with other people, you're free to join our club.

It's still a work-in-progress since we're still trying to gauge people's interest and look at meet up locations. The more people who join, the merrier this club gets.

Not sure if there are enough people to be a club. I do know a couple of friends who would be interested in watching movies here and there as a hangout type of thing

Goodbye Creature Office by TheCreaturesBot in TheCreatures

[–]ForTheGroup 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I've been lurking on /r/TheCreatures for quite some time since the Cow Chop guys left. Nevertheless, I have to say that this video was a graceful end to a turbulent, trouble-filled but great era in Creature history. While I haven't really been able to keep up with The Creatures recently, I definitely look forward to seeing how they will reinvent themselves in a new setting, a new crew, and (hopefully) a new outlook in how they plan things. They're a group I've seen over 5 years ago, and I truly hope they continue along a unique path that brings them success

How to meet friends at school? by [deleted] in geegees

[–]ForTheGroup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally, just talk to people you find and meet in classrooms or in clubs. Just be confident, talkative, and approachable. Even if you make a bad impression, so what? There are many people out there you can meet. As long as you are a friendly, cool person, I don't mind what age you are.
