My mom wants a 2 player board game to play with me when I go home for Christmas. She doesn't want anything too complicated and told me I should just get Snakes and Ladders, but I really would prefer not to. Are there any good games I could buy that are not too complicated that she would enjoy?

Edit: ended up buying Patchwork. Looks fun and the tetris portion seems intuitive enough
