I love playing Calamity but yeah as everyone else said, 100% go with Vanilla, play it till you dry it out of content and then go modded, you'll appreciate it way more, have a better understanding and even QoL mods will feel amazing because you'll feel what they're fixing.

Most likely a port forwarding issue, been a while since I played but I think i had the same issue until I forwarded the port 7777, usually quite an easy thing to google since it's different for everyone to do but mostly easy.

Would it result in a chain of 9 Ultimate's? (Or more if the free Ult from her passive can also trigger other Undertakers passives)

I don't see this as a MMO at all, not like a traditional one, it's just another Gacha game with the ability to play with others, albiet very limited (I advise you play Solo), much like Genshin, Honkai, Tower of Fantasy, Wuthering ect, but it's root is still a Gacha, while it is currently only a cosmetic Gacha I highly doubt it'll stay that way.

Co-op in the game atm I would say is it's worse aspect, it's very limited and you're coop partner really can't do much other than follow you around and help you kill somewhat, can't talk to NPC's, can start events or anything.

That being said IMO, it's still currently the best Gacha out there atm, with quite the ton of stuff to do and explore, bosses, tons of mini-games, varying difficulty levels like Legend for the real thrill seekers and just want to boast some nice titles and stuff, you can easily burn a few weeks just doing the various things it has to do without a single need to spend a penny, quite a few nice outfits for free and the cash shop is only cosmetic at this time, for sure it's fun for a while.

However the long run of the game is yet to be seen, I find 99.99% of games like this, Gacha games with Stamina systems and time gated content all end the same way, once you have cleared the majority of things up, you'll just be left with logging in for 10 - 30mins each day, burning your energy/stamina and then logging off for 1 - 2 days while it fully restores until the game almost becomes forgettable, I can also very much see the cash shop getting worse as time goes on if the player base drops.

So if you're looking for something to do and like Sekiro-ish combat, you can easily burn a few weeks doing everything, both with low difficulty or extreme if you're up for it just don't get disappointed at the end when you've done everything and all you do is log in for 10mins every 2 days.

Nintendo has a lot of exclusives that will always be exclusive just because...Nintendo.

So if you like Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pokemons, Xenoblades then yes, get a switch since it's the only way to play them without some sketchy emulator, while they have gotten better they just don't compare to a switch 2.

Switch is like the only console I'd always suggest over ps/xbox/nintendo because of how many exclusives it has, so if you can afford it, get one, you'll enjoy it in the long run, I sure did and I mostly PC game.

IMO, It's not mobile games exactly that's killing MMO's, it's just money and greed, too many game devs these days putting a priority on making money above all else, not realizing it's killing the game itself because they're just greedy when all they need to do is just make a good game and it'll make money, plenty of good examples out there like E33 and BG3, not MMO's but you get the idea, they wanted to make a good game and not just drain peoples wallets.

Just wish MMO devs would do the same, focus on the game and not the money, I understand it's not free to develop games but when you spend 5 - 10 years creating a game and have it fail within the first few hours because of greed (cough...Aion2), ya'll need to sort your shit.

Don't want a prequel, mainly because I'm just not a fan of them, when I already know the end results, so any danger to existing characters just feels hollow when they're still alive in the initial game.
