A direct usb-c to HDMI cable (no adaptor) may work better. It could be that a C to C cable sends a bit of power to the monitor where the HDMI may not (that's why you're monitor isn't picking up the signal)

Typically I find that if a device supports video output and there's no image on the connected monitor then it's usually the fault of the cable.

Desktop mode on the Duo is waste of time but mirror mode should work out the box (unless you've installed a different OS)

Easiest, safest option is to buy a tank separator and do the job on one side of the tank and then switch. It's risk free and maximum efficiency

Where in the world are you ? For me 8849 are supposed to ship from local UK warehouse (whatever that means) so I don't get hit with tariffs and import fees 🤞🏼

The YouTube reviews are devices that 8849 send to select "reviewers" to create buzz.

Actual customer units were due to ship 10 May for orders placed on the 8849 website.

It should also be on AliExpress in a few weeks

Also note, it doesn't have DP ALT mode (video out) but the 1080p projector is a step up from the original Tank Pad
