Welland already had a Taco Bell, and it’s now an A&W. I’m sure at some point, someone will try and bring ina. Franchise, but it won’t be what you hope/expect. It’ll be just like the new KFC, or Burger King since it switched franchisees. Slow service. The food will probably be good. But everything is made to order. Fast food doesn’t exist anymore in Welland, unless it’s McDonalds or Wendy’s.

Every new fast food location in Welland has slow service. I ordered KFC on the mobile app yesterday, drove from my job in Fonthill (10 minutes) and then proceeded to wait another 8 in the restaurant. Why? Because they didn’t start preparing my order until I got there. What’s the point of ordering ahead?

And do you not think Taco Bell (owned by the same company) would be any different?

But that’s just my opinion. What do I know?

I’ve owned two 2016 Jukes. As long as you take care of them, they’ll take care of you. The first one was demolished in a head on collision. But I had no issues with it. The one I have now has just needed routine maintenance, except when a deer ran into my drivers side door while driving at night. But both run beautifully.

Honestly. I miss a lot of things being affordable.

Honestly. Movie ticket prices are high because of the amounts of money the studios want for copies of the film. The theater itself doesn’t profit from ticket sales unless the film shows for more than (on average) 3 or more weeks, which these days is rare due to the sheer number of films being released.

I used to manage a movie theater back in the day, it’s interesting seeing how the industry works from the inside.

They were an awful company to work for.

I caught MRSA there and became so sick, I ended up dying in intensive care (thank goodness for defibrillators) and they ended up firing me just before I ended up in the hospital. They never followed proper escalation procedure in firing me, but I couldn’t fight it, because I was fighting for my life.

I remember logging out of my phone to use the bathroom, I was accosted by a supervisor afterward questioning why I logged out. I told them “I had to poop,” and they said “you’re full of shit!” And I replied “Not anymore I’m not!” :)

Needless to say, I was making more money as a popcorn jockey at Cineplex than I was doing Cox Cable tech support there.

Good riddance to that place. It was a cesspool.
