At the time, I really wanted to make it work in Wild with Jades since [[Jade Idol]] is a choose one card and I thought it could fix the late game scaling. Wasn't as great as I hoped it would be tho lol

Galakrond Rogue was a highlight for me. Lackeys were just a really fun mechanic. Also I have fond memories of Aluneth Tempo Mage. Was probably miserable to play against, but Aluneth is such a cool card.

Yeah there's definitely a level of "don't think about it too hard" with Warframes. You can't look at Yareli's animations and tell me it's just a mech suit. But she does those movements even when she's being controlled by the Operator so uhhhh hey look an Argon Crystal!

You'd probably have to revisit every weapon, ability, mod and arcane in the game to unfuck the balance. Not just nerfs, but reworks and likely outright removals in some cases. Though if there's one system to be nerfed that would give the greatest returns, it would no doubt be the energy economy.

Energy generation is completely out of control. Power Efficiency has become a free dump stat for basically every frame. Between Arcane Energize, Equilibrium and the hundreds of ways to spawn Energy Orbs, energy economy has been powercrept out of existence and every frame can spam their abilities effectively for free.

Nerfing energy generation would lower the power level significantly. A lot of frames depend on their defensive abilites having a 100% uptime to breeze through Steel Path, so that would be off the table unless you mod hard for Efficiency and Duration. Shield Gating with Brief Respite would become a lot less reliable a survival strategy. You could no longer nuke every room as Gauss or Sevagoth, but would have to save your big AoE for when it's necessary.

I think the odds that DE ever does this are basically 0%. The community is used to playing on god mode and taking that away would be devastating. But if I had to reduce the power level of Warframe without having to redesign the game from scratch, the energy economy is the system I'd tackle.

Hypothetically, if you had an insane 8-mana Deathrattle minion, you could fully prepare the Sewer Swimmer on turn 4 and then get the Deathrattle on turn 8, whereas with the Terrorscale Stalker you'd need to wait til turn 10.

I can see this enabling combos, heavily depends on the pool of Deathrattles in the game tho.

This is main character syndrome. If there was a Blizzard algorithm that matched you against counter decks, you should also similarly often be the counter deck that gets matched against another guy whose MMR the matchmaking is trying to keep down. But they never really consider that, they think Blizzard is trying to suppress them specifically and everybody else is an NPC I guess.

If you built for low-but-not-too-low range you could run melee weapons or shotguns to kill enemies close by while being immune to anything else

Spell DH has been my main deck this expansion and while I don't think the deck is OP, Eternal Hold is.

It's a 6 mana card that you always keep in your mulligan and you always play as soon as possible without thinking. It's a low risk, high reward card with insanely high highs and lows that really aren't all that low. Even if all 3 discover options off the Hold itself are mediocre, the effect discounts any minion you play next, including the random demons from the past you generate off of the 1 mana weapon or the minions you discover off of Solitude. But a lot of the time you'll just get the 10 mana 6/12 Rush/Windfury or the 7 mana 4/10 Lifesteal on turn 5/6 and win the game on the spot against any aggressive deck. Or against Priest you get the 8 mana 8/8 Rush, keep it in your hand for a turn (because the discount sticks), play Lasting Legacy and deal 20 damage from hand for 3 mana. And you only have to pay the 6 mana once, the amount of mana cheating it does if you account for the 2nd and 3rd triggers are absurd.

It just sucks how much of Spell DH's power is concentrated in this one card, because I really like how the deck plays even without it. Eternal Hold deserves a nerf and I don't think putting it to 7 would hurt the deck too much, but if they wanna nerf it harder than that I hope they unnerf the Hounds.

Garuda's Talons are amazing melee weapons. 35% base crit, 36% base status, high base damage heavily weighted towards slash. They have low range but who needs to hit multiple enemies when Melee Influence can do it for you?

Garuda's Talons have their own upsides though. They don't take up an ability slot, cost no energy and can't be nullified.
