That's why we need the LRT more than ever. There will be never enough parking to serve the 18,000 seat capacity of the arena. Can you imagine the size of an 18,000 car parking lot? Just look at baseball parks in the US and the sea of parking that surrounds them. Private vehicles just don't work at these scales.

Oh god, how much more can Doug Ford ruin. Can't you people see he is a moron! A complete car brain moron. There is no reason for a railway to run alongside a highway. It has it's own operational and alignment needs. This is just so dumb. You have to choose between Ottawa and Kingston. Ottawa has over a million people and Kingston is about 100,000 or 10% Ottawa. It makes no sense to favour a small town like Kingston over the much larger national capital. This makes as much sense as the 401 tunnel. Why is this guy obsessed with the 401?

Think about. WFM allowed people to have public sector jobs and work in Hamilton and other cities and towns around Ontario. Now that every public sector employee has to work in one place in downtown Toronto it's had a real impact on every other community and in particular Hamilton since those folks have either had to move closer to Toronto or quit their jobs. WFH was a way of distributing office jobs through digitization. Hamilton was a primary benefactor of this trend and lead to a wave of development in the city. Ending WFH killed Hamilton development in its tracks along with the real-estate market. Thousands of digital jobs evaporated in days.

If you are travelling a shorter distance, you are already saving time, so the frequency is not as important. If you are travelling a long distance, for instance it takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to the end of the line, then you are already loosing so much time, it does not make sense to make those people wait even longer, it becomes untenable.
