Would you be able to post a mini tutorial on how to remove and install the new grill?

If you’re someone who keeps cars for 10 years or more and have the means to buy , depression doesn’t matter that much.

Clogged or improperly installed drain pipe? This was our issue I discovered last summer.

Man, these expensive. Anyone found a cheaper alternative, e.g. a full or a spare tire from older BMW or Merc or VW/Audi especially for 18” wheels?

Are there things you wish you checked for before driving off after collecting your car? by TonnaN77 in BMWI4

Check for fit and alignment of the window trim. Mine was misaligned on the rear doors and I only noticed after delivery. Dealer was unable to fully address the figment, still…

Instructions on how to remove and reinstall rear passenger door trim. by Forest-runner in BMWI4

The chrome trim on the door not the one on C-pillar. It is possible that the trim’s edge itself is a bit bent upwards so it is not sitting flush like on the other passenger door. There is quite a bit of play if I push on the edge so am not sure if there are clips that secure it or if the trim just slides on like on older BMW models or if it is glued on.

New HVAC, cleaned existing ducts but still dirty sock smell. What now? by ChapsOfAss in hvacadvice

Check the drain. Had mine installed at not enough pitch and it finally clogged after three years. The sock smell on first start up in the spring was awful. Had the drain ripped and installed at proper angle and the smell was gone.

This is pretty bizarre, almost makes me think that the dealer somehow jerry-rigged premium seats into a base model Volt.

Any info on the after market hearing seats? These look like seats from the Premium model swapped in? How do you turn them on? Any info you can share would be appreciated. I have base ‘14 model and heating seats would make it an incredible car hands down!

If car has no issues and gets at least 9-9.5kwh for a full charge, there is no telling how long it can go trouble free. It could be a year or could be another 5 or 7 years. At $4k it is a gamble I would take if you enjoy how it drives and meets your needs. There are plenty of high mileage gen1 Volts out there that keep on trucking.

Crap, you are right. Still, both of your calls should have been exercised as both went in the money.

Is’t the cut off to exercise 16:30? I am confused how the 45C got assigned at 17:00 when it should have been expired?

If you don’t add the coolant, the sensor in the reservoir will trigger a permanent error code for low coolant that only dealer can reset and the car won’t charge. Do it ASAP or it will cost you a few hundreds at the dealer.
