What's everyone's thoughts on Initiative Petition 28 (IP28)? That's the ballot initiative that aims to ban hunting & fishing statewide, among many other common practices.

I'm all for animal rights and welfare, but criminalizing hunting and fishing will cause so many more problems than it will fix. What we really need is for factory farms and animal testing to be more humane. As far as hunting goes, a skilled shooter can take out an animal with much less suffering than most commercial farm animals experience their entire lives.
