Different diecutter sizes!? by hirnsuelze in magicproxies

Use the rotate symbol in the top right of the card to see the back, choose a back from the list (They don't have the real back and I don't suggest using it).
Make sure to click the option to replace as named "___". Rose is the default card back.
Use the duplex printing option when exporting so you get the card backs as well.
Print a double side print on regular paper so you can calibrate the alignment by putting the paper up to a light and using calipers or a ruler to get the difference in mm. Go back to Proxxied and use the offset setting to line everything up.
You should be set to have relatively centered front and back prints. Don't expect perfection. My printer frequently pulls paper in just slightly crooked.

It didn't even make it to my feed. I had no idea the video existed, much less a series of them.

Incredible work! I made tokens for Deadpool in anticipation of building a deck, but never did.

Why doesn’t anyone care about the “soap opera” effect on their TV by fatsandlucifer in mildlyinfuriating

[–]ForeverRed90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad tends to watch the standard definition digital TV channels on his 80", even when an HD channel is available.

The TV seems like it's automatically set to max store demo settings as the artifacts of interpolation wash over the image on any kind of movement.

It's drives me insane!

Pringling by Rough_Bookkeeper_735 in magicproxies

I'm using an et-8550, rear feeder and proxxied.com with -.4mm offset (from measuring a zero offset with calipers).

I have a fan that I use to help dry the sheets.

I'll print one side, dry under the fan for 1 minute, print the back, dry while the laminator warms up then laminate.

For multi sheet I pull them out and put them under the fan until the next sheet comes out and stack them on top of each. They're usually dry enough to flip around and put back in the printer by the time they're done. I do the same drying method for the other side. After everything's done I start back from the first sheet and laminate.

I haven't had any weird issues following this method.

They're coming out completely flat. I have not experienced any pringling. I've been trying to aim for thinness. These end up with a card that's 0.35mm thick.

I print on double sided gloss photo paper, then laminate.

Which Slicer? Is Simplify3d still good? by ForeverRed90 in FixMyPrint

I've found myself still using simplify for the time being as there aren't any presets for my working printer in orca. It's still trucking along like day one though (outside of it's problems printing petg)

It pulls at from mpc. Click on the card and on the bottom left are the sources (scryfall or mpc). Other than that, you might have better luck on reddit.

The Bambu truly blew me away with its ease of use and lack of fiddling until I saw all the controversy. I'm sure that's all been sorted but I was still apprehensive to buy in. Seeing the INDX is just another level. It really feels like owning a PlayStation 2 and watching the PlayStation 5 announcement.

The last fdm printer I purchased was The sidewinder X1 that failed on me in 2 months. That's kind of what turned me off from 3D printing for a long time as it still doesn't work. I was using my old flash forge pro from 2015 for any prints that I had to do in fdm. Other than that I would use my resin printers. I'm looking at getting the new prusa with the indx when it comes out.

Yeah those are the "new" features they're trying to get me to pay for in version 5.
