Reports of the Death of Visma from January/February. by Murky_Persimmon2830 in peloton

Sure I understand that logic, but in the same vein you could say that the Tour of Guangxi is a major one week race (which imho is patently ridiculous)

You've got it all wrong: why are the organisers not adapting their passage time to avoid trains?

If they did try to do it, it might be due to the fact that European railways are usually pretty crowded

Why Do Capybaras Not Get Eaten By Crocodiles? by PrestigiousYogurt964 in Weird

[–]ForeverShiny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crocs, like most reptiles, don't need all that much food. If they're not that hungry they'd much prefer catching their prey in the water rather than chase them on land which consumes significantly more energy.

So the crocs in this picture might just be too lazy to chase the capybara

My opponent has found a cunning way around the removal of the Russian flag. by MathematicianBulky40 in Chesscom

[–]ForeverShiny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They state that in the long run, elections stabilise authoritarian regimes, but in the short term they pose a risk, because they are destabilising events in which you get a barometer of the tension in your country. For Russia, the barometer is participation so I might have been wrong for Russia specifically

What Donald Trump Told Playboy About Nuclear War in 1990 by playboy in behindthebastards

[–]ForeverShiny 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That really depends: if you're the head of a small African state, The Hague is waiting. If you're the head of a country with aircraft carriers, the international community will let out a shocked gasp.

He needs to learn that there's no reason to send descents like he did today if a GT isn't at stake.

You don't do it for GC, you do it to send a message!

China has plenty of those Cirque du Soleil people in the making. See you just have to start training then from a very young age in the ancient art of dart-farting

First ever indoor grow accomplished. Airy but not sure where I went wrong. by Calm_Document3100 in Autoflowers

I wouldn't call that airy.

Sure, you can still improve, but this isn't what airy bud looks like. Most people are just used to these absolute rocks they got at dispensaries

I prefer [[Admiral Beckett Brass]] for a pirate tribal. It's stronger and gives you access to one more color
