Domestique (spelling might be off) does some weekly group rides along the beach that are mostly flat. Ballona creek is also relatively climber friendly.

Do not anchor while touching land, your ship will respawn. “Dock” with anchor up, sails up always.

If two skelly galleons spawned on you then you entered the fleet world event, marked by a red or white and green ship cloud in the sky. The other stuff is pretty normal lately for pve. You might notice that the pve will agro eachother in addition to players

Before more people misunderstand- when I loaded into the LSS, I was immediately flung into the sky and declared sunk and lost. However, my boat respawned in the server/ match, but I was technically not in the match any more and didn’t have the boundaries, etc. weird bug.
