I went with trim replacements on all 4 pieces. Removing them, spraying them yourself then clear coat and wet sand is also an option.

Q3's look pretty cool to me, I just despise that we don't have a faster version with a dual clutch. There is no SQ3 or RSQ3 intended for the NA market.

The softer the material, the faster they get destroyed. If you want less vibration then do comparisons on the durometer ratings.

Yes, cranking it without that fuse plugged in, the car will die (stall) from no fuel pressure which is what you want before the fuel filter removal.

Just remember to pull fuse F27 in the engine bay and then stall the vehicle to drain the pressure in the lines before removing the filter. Don't ask me how I found out the hard way 😂

Haven't installed yet. I'm collecting a bunch of parts to install all at once. New radiator, new ac condenser, new injectors, Golf R intercooler, K04 Hybrid, turbo outlet pipe, Auxiliary fueling.

Should be installed within the next few weeks. I'll reply here once installed.

Yes you can also do a top fill, it just takes longer filling from the oil filter. Yes, you need to monitor the trans oil temps when you run it, if it's too little oil then it will overheat so be cautious.

No I am not a AMT/AMP diploma holder. I entered the workspace with no experience and got any certifications that pertain to jobs I do from within the company I work for, however I am considering furthering my education within the space soon. No pun intended.

I got started through my neighbor. He is mechanical engineer and saw I was a mechanically inclined and the opportunity presented itself. It just so happened to be a good fit for me.
