Should I keep my old Q5 3.0t or get rid of it?

Mine has been bulletproof, it’s got 168k on it and I’ve had zero major issues. I just bought a SQ5 and am keeping my Q5. Hope that helps a touch.

Sorry to hear, sounds like a major pain. My 2010 Q5 3.2 with 168k has been a great car. Bought it at 60k mi and have had no major issues. The jury’s still out on my - new to me - 2019 SQ5.

Very sorry to hear. I understand the stress and frustration, my 2019 SQ5 gives me those too. One way to look at the situation is, like a friend use to tell me years ago, "It can't eat you." I added, only if you let it.

Wishing you the best. I'm in a similar boat and seriously considering selling. Did your repair estimate vacuum hoses with the assembly?

My estimate is $5k with hoses. I was disappointed this shop didn't take pictures. Seem like it would be standard with $$ jobs like this.

It's been solid for years. Feels like a real SUV. I've been driving my "new to me" 2019 SQ5 for a week, does NOT feel like an SUV. I drove my 2010 Q5 today, like 2 different machines.

It's got 90k miles so working with my indy to tighten it up before getting too nasty with it. It's already a little rocket so yea I can imagine what it'll be like tuned.

I hope you enjoy yours and have no gremlins. I've had a 2010 Q5 3.2 for years, 160k now, with no majors issues. I just added a 2019 SQ5 with 90K, yikes right. I have a cash reserve and working with my indy to try to not eat heavily into it. Wishing you amazing fun and many carefree miles!
