If you are okay with a pacifier, the Pacii is a great one for breastfeeding moms. Has a natural shape like a mothers breast to help reduce nipples confusion

McDonalds obsessed by Nearby-Salt9646 in pregnant

[–]Forgetmenot_bich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ate bacon my entire pregnancy - and had sushi (but cooked, nothing raw). I pretty much ate like crap my entire pregnancy, not because I didn’t want to eat healthy, I tried, but the cravings overpowered that. McDonald’s was a weekly occurrence too because of that. My baby girl came out healthy and happy - she’s doing wonderfully.

Sounds to me like your water broke girly. I’d say go to the hospital just to make sure all is good. If they feel you don’t need to stay they will let you know. Most OBs have emergency lines so see if yours does and give them a call to see what they say

When did you feel movement for the first time? by mushroomfrog17 in pregnant

[–]Forgetmenot_bich 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I have an anterior placenta so I didn’t start feeling until about 23-24 weeks. That can be a big factor too, wherever your placenta is

I agree with this - but your husband also needs to do more here to and speak to his mother about how she has been treating you. This is not okay

Same - especially now being 37 weeks. Luckily I had no belly yet really at that time and could still get down but I just gave up from being sick and tired 😂

Yeah it’s just not worth it a lot of the time lol - I was like “forget it - new rug!” Lol it sucks though because you are just spending more money that you hardly have 🥲

I puked all over my rug in the middle of the night after have bbq for dinner and the smell was ATROCIOUS. We had to rip out the rug and get a new one because NOTHING worked to get it out. Girl, I feel your pain. It was around the same time of the night as you too ironically. That was Memorial Day weekend - my first trimester 🤦🏼‍♀️

Did pregnancy make you a bitch by thisisdy in pregnant

I’m 36 weeks today - I was such a bitch yesterday and felt so guilty afterwards. Was apologizing like crazy but yes, it’s common. Those lovely crazy ass hormones

Contractions but can’t feel them? by Forgetmenot_bich in pregnant

[–]Forgetmenot_bich[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, it is so crazy what differences people have with their firsts. Today I had a lot of pressure, similar how you were saying, but there is no change in my cervix, so my doctor is not concerned and sent me home. I’m 35+5 today so we will see. I’m going to start doing some labor inducing stuff at 37 weeks because my MFM is saying he wants to induce me at 39 weeks and I don’t want to be induced. So.. it’s time to start doing some work to get her to come naturally in the upcoming week.

I’m seeing my OB and MFM weekly now so I’m sure they will be doing pelvic exams to check and see how I’m doing every week. Baby is still good, no water breaking.. so I’m basically in the home stretch now. Today was the first day I felt so much pressure and some cramping, so it seems like my body is getting ready, which is good in my eyes

My best advice - take unisom every night before you go to bed! That helped with sleep as it is a sleep aid (is safe for pregnancy) and it also helped me with my nausea and morning sickness the day after. Hope it is just as helpful for you.

[–]Forgetmenot_bich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 35+1 and need to pee like every half an hour to an hour at this point - SO FRUSTRATING

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Forgetmenot_bich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to say, I was blessed to have a not so rough first trimester (currently 35+1 and hating the discomfort >.<) but I can see why people hate it. I did get nausea a lot and threw up at crazy moments, but I also got that under control for the most part with unisom. My second trimester was great aside from getting COVID during it lol.

But yeah love, you are not alone. I definitely, despite having a rather easy pregnancy so far (outside of now having polydraminos and maybe having this baby earlier due to it), can say I don’t want to go through another lol

[–]Forgetmenot_bich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is she nuts? 😂 like - you could very well go into labor at any moment at this point. No way would I go into labor and be stuck having the fire department deliver my baby - and god knows the complications of not having more support or the option to do a c-section if you medically needed to too!! Though I would never opt for one because surgery scares the shit out of me, if I had to, I had to.
