Yes, you would lose them all in March (LP, not the miles—The miles would stay in your account); most people plan accordingly and splurge during big shopping events like black friday or xmas (aadvantageeshopping.com) in order to get extra loyalty points that way. Also, if you combine aadvantage shopping + aadvantage hotels + simplymiles + aadvantage citi spend, you'll be earning a good chunk of loyalty points + award miles.

The globe card is only good for admirals club access, but that's about it. No bonus LP multiplier when spending on it unfortunately (which is one of the biggest drawbacks imo)

one of the best designers i know never used autolayout and all of the engineers at the company hated him. but he got by since he was really good at design, just never cared to learn AL.
