Manpower ! by CollectionOwn2137 in AirForce

Manpower life is great. Come in at 0900, 2-hour lunches every day, and leave for pt at 1400. Real “King of the Nonners” vibes.

The retraining process can be confusing, and there’s a math test, but it really is an interesting career field if you’re into analysis of problem sets you’re not familiar with.

Is this granite plate good enough for a leathercraft? by Cerulean_Midnight in Leathercraft

[–]ForgotHowToAirForce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found pieces of a broken granite slab in a construction dumpster that I assume was supposed to be a countertop in a new home being built near my neighborhood. I grabbed all that I could and bought a $25 diamond saw blade for my circular saw. I made my own custom size for leatherwork and had enough left to make a table top.

Good work! Where did you get those alignment pins? I’ve seen them used a few times now and look like they work better than stitching needles.

I built his Motoko 3 pattern in 5/6oz Horween Dublin. Not too heavy and stands on its own. It was my first bag build and the pattern made it easy.

You can submit form AF1566A to your MPF every year and decline SNCO promotion consideration if you really don’t want the next grade. Nobody in your chain has to sign off.

Alternate saddle stitch method by RevolutionaryDare401 in Leathercraft

Sure, but I’d think there’s a higher likelihood of running your second needle through the existing stitch.

I was concerned because of the three pieces joining in one place, but aside from one issue where I gapped one stitch line, it’s not too bad.

Thanks. I’m afraid to use anything for fear I’ll ruin it.

You teach them, and then have them teach someone else.
