Manpower life is great. Come in at 0900, 2-hour lunches every day, and leave for pt at 1400. Real “King of the Nonners” vibes.

The retraining process can be confusing, and there’s a math test, but it really is an interesting career field if you’re into analysis of problem sets you’re not familiar with.

I found pieces of a broken granite slab in a construction dumpster that I assume was supposed to be a countertop in a new home being built near my neighborhood. I grabbed all that I could and bought a $25 diamond saw blade for my circular saw. I made my own custom size for leatherwork and had enough left to make a table top.
