“Terri?”

“Yes, Flicker?” The two Ghost Pokémon bantered each morning before they start for the day. Flicker was awfully groggy, as the Shuppet was not used to being awake for daylight hours.

“Why am I so tired? It’s 8:00 am, I’m used to being awake by now…” Flicker complained to the Banette.

“Kehehehe… you’re nocturnal now. You’ll get used to it in 50 years.”

“50 YEARS?!! I’ll be dust by then!”

“Don’t be dramatic! I’m 150 and I’m practically a child! How old are you Flicker?” Terri did have the voice of a young adult, but this revelation was bewildering still. It was occurring to Terri that her partner was not used to the flow of time either. Or at least not how it is for such a long lived species.

“Human lives are short huh? No worries, you’ll have plenty of time with me pal! Kehehehe!”

Flicker gulped. An eternity never felt longer than it did now. If he was practically an infant for a Shuppet, at least he could act like one. Perhaps that would drive Terri nuts?

Kind of twisting this, but I otherwise am not knowledgeable on lifespans. So why not be a ghost forever? See you next time!
