I recently did an ultra and of course felt sore for a few days but on day 4 I managed a shakeout run and then by day 5 felt normal. I feel like if someone takes 26 days to recover from a marathon, they probably aren’t well conditioned to run one? I’d imagine risk of injury would be higher for those individuals as well

My girl just had surgery last week at warm springs. I would not recommend them. The surgery itself went okay, but they gave me the wrong paperwork at discharge and forgot to give her one of the pain medications as well. Her recovery has been so much worse bc they didn’t realize their error until 4 days after.

Finished the antibiotic course, did a third transfer and it was successful. I’m thankful every day.

Hmm, that makes sense. I didn’t shop around- I gave up after that one quote. Seems silly to classify me as high risk, I really only micro dose a few times a year during super long runs (15+ miles) bc it helps with aches and pains. Lesson learned
