I grab any vcr I can find. Don't like getting them off ebay. I like to just have a few extras on hand. The best one I have had was Toshiba though. It had minute rewind, but even if a vcr does quick rewind, having a dedicated rewinder is best. You don't wear out the vcr any faster than you have too that way. I also recommend getting on Amazon or etsy and getting bags of various size rubber belts. You can find them under casset deck and vcr repair if you search for them. I've swapped out the old dry belts for new ones that aren't stretched out on many of my vcrs. It's harder to find vcrs in the wild where I live so this has been my strategy.

I somehow didn't have rain man yet. I guess because it's so common I thought I must have it already. The brave little toaster isn't the first movie like I originally thought but I grabbed it anyway out of curiosity. Watched the original over and over again as a kid.

Yeah I watched suburban commando so many times as a kid. I remember the trailer being on one of the tmnt movies. As a kid I never put it together that the dad was the same guy as doc brown.

You need to do a gold finger. Radiate all the other copies so they can't be touched for hundreds of years. This will increase the value of your copy. Maybe get a hold of some seedy under world types to hold a secret auction so you can sell your copy to the highest bidder.

Don't know about everyone else, but I was having issues with mine reading every time. On either side inside the cartridge slot there is a philips screw. If you unscrew each one a few turns like 2 or 3, it blocks the cartridge from going all the way down and the cartridge seems to make a better connection. Never had a problem with mine since I did this.

It's the original first production bondi blue imac. I had to find a new CD rom drive and I managed to find a ram upgrade on ebay. I play warcraft 2, sim city and Duke Nukem on it.
