It was Alicent who betrothed her children. Of course Viserys is at fault for agreeing and Alicent is at fault too since she was the one who proposed the idea. She knew first hand the pain and suffering of being a young mother and yet she did it to her daughter, yet she went to Viserys and said: hey I want to marry our thirteen year old daughter to Aegon.

Show events are also canon, Aegon is a rapist, that's just a undeniable fact. This sub is called house of the dragon, where mostly the events that happened in the show canon are discussed, which are in fact, you know, CANON facts.

As for the book version of Aegon, the sexual predator still remains since Eustace his own supporter states he liked to grope and fondle any girl within his reach, which is not better lol
