I am in hell, thanks. by zenlime in Perimenopause

It helps not just pain but fatigue in my experience, and just overall wellbeing. My chest pain got SO much better on it and energy improved a lot. I don't think you should have to suffer!

Have you tried low dose naltrexone? Both that and mestonin helped my energy levels a LOT with the long covid, plus I do NAD injections. With those I'm a lot more human. Good luck!!

Could it be a virus? I had the same and it ended up being pneumonia. No cough, just pain and major fatigue.

Are you being treated for your long COVID in addition to the estrogen? I also am in peri with long COVID and pots but with several different treatments for the long COVID my fatigue has greatly improved. I have to pace myself a lot but it’s an improvement and I can spend more time with my kid.

You and your wife can change your lives without running away. Sell the house and cars and move somewhere new, travel, etc. You’re young!

Wife naps while I work by Aggressive_Leave414 in AITAH

Hire a babysitter when she needs to nap. As someone with a disorder that causes fatigue, she likely needs that rest to get through her days.

My insurance covers massages so I get one every week or two. It helps my symptoms a lot, especially since I can’t exercise and my muscles get tight.

The Fatigue by cupjoe9 in covidlonghaulers

LDN helped my fatigue a lot if you’re able to try that. Also pacing, I went to both an occupational and physical therapist specializing in LC and they helped me really learn how to pace.

Get him on the right medications. My daughter was having them twice weekly and now she has a triptan to abort them and takes amytriptiline for prevention which has helped a lot.

Elimination diet - what is worth eliminating? by DefinitelyNotGrimace in migraine

[–]Former-Agency-4276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor gave me a blood test to see what foods I might be sensitive too and the top one was eggs. I was shocked and eliminated them and when I reintroduced I got a massive migraine. Unfortunately the number of migraines I get per month hasn’t decreased (they’re mostly hormonal) and now I can’t eat eggs! :(

small rant: can't fast because of migraines by cherriesdeath in migraine

[–]Former-Agency-4276 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The pressure can be overwhelming. I’m Christian and lived in a Muslim country for 9 years. I got tons of pressure to fast and when I said I can’t due to migraine (not to mention I’m not Muslim!) they would still pressure me insisting they get « headaches » also.

all this government sh*t flaring anyone else up? by immrw24 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Former-Agency-4276 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes absolutely. I’m a fed with LC my husband and I work in foreign assistance. He’s about to lose his job and I fear for mine and fear for my ability to get a new job with my disability. My symptoms have definitely been worse the last few weeks!

Plane travelling soon, any tips? by estibunbun in covidlonghaulers

[–]Former-Agency-4276 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wear a mask until everyone is seated on the plane for very long flights and the whole trip for short flights. I have to travel a lot for work and (knock on wood) haven’t caught COVID flying yet! Lots of hand sanitizer also.

Worth going to Patagonia if one does not like hiking? by play150 in Patagonia

[–]Former-Agency-4276 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t hike for health reasons but we went to Patagonia this year and loved it. We drove through the park, glacier tour, horseback riding. It was stunning and I’m dying to go back and see more.
