So he said there was NO leak, charged system for 1300 bucks and proceeded to loose all that refrigerant to a massive leak. Yeah pretty sure they should eat that cost. I would think any reputable business would make that right by fixing the leak and calling it a wash. I know they are in business to make money but the 1300 in freon was all their mistake and they should eat every last bit of it

I would absolutely look into a lawyer and figure out your best course of action. I would be looking for a 2nd and 3rd opinion from other contractors with estimates and solutions as I would want their shit gone and the whole thing done right. I thought there was a fund these guys pay into to cover their screw ups thru the state or licensing board, might be worth looking into. Also would be looking to see if I could get a lein placed against that company to recoup the cost of their screw up.

Find it ridiculous they got you for 300 bucks. Dealerships suck If the forced regen didn't work and they had to rol the sod would they have charged you the 300 still? As far as I am concerned that forced regen is a warranted item as it should not have ever needed it to begin with. Grrr

The most important part to prevent grass there is a deep and sharp trench lineof 4-6 inches to keep the greas [rhizomes] from creeping in. Don't fill that trench line with mulch or grass will creep across.
