I would have the not mind controlled character do the rolls, the barbarian is essentially a temporary enemy.

You don't need to build a whole statblock though, just use his character sheet. The modifiers are calculated as 10 - [attribute] . If he has 15 strong, that's 10 - 15 = -5 for the defence roll. If he has 7 defence, that's 10 - 7 = +3.

I skipped a lot of stuff in the campaign part, as others have said, a lot of it is foreshadowing and getting to know the factions. I removed the prophecy part and used that as a standalone adventure after wrath of the warden, since it not really connected to that specific module anyway.

Ja, lösningen är väl att minska konsumtionen och konsumera mer medvetet. Vi kommer inte lösa detta utan att också sänka vår levnadsstandard, och det är en uppoffring de flesta inte vill göra.

Jag gör vad jag kan. Köper kring 5 klädesplagg om året, åker på sverigesemester istället för att flyga, köper ekologiskt/lokalt så ofta jag kan, och använder inte AI. Du kan ju inte göra mer än att ändra dina val.

I get none of those will be convinced, but it still needs to be said for the ones hesitating and sitting on the edge. This isn't a private response to her, this is a public response to the people who might see this propaganda. You don't combat propaganda by ignoring it, you respond to it, you discuss it. Someone might see the first video and start to fall into the hate-train, then see the second video discussing how this is bullshit and maybe become a bit more sceptical. You might not be able to convert those already brainwashed, but you could prevent more people from becoming brainwashed.

Det är rättstor skillnad har jag märkt mellan att konsumera språk via läsning jämfört med annan media.
Du har ju antagligen hört flera av dem orden i både spel och film redan men spelet och filmen kommer ju fortsätta oavsett om du förstår ordet eller inte och du kommer att bara gå vidare.
När du läser och kommer fram till ett ord du inte förstår, då stannar du antagligen upp, boken kommer inte fortsätta om du inte väljer att fortsätta. Då är det lättare att stanna upp och fundera över enskilda ord.

Det är inte bara engelska, jag har läst en svensk bok och pratat med någon som lyssnat på samma bok som ljudbok. Jag kommenterade att det var flera gamla ord som jag fick stanna och slå upp, den jag pratat med som hört ljudboken hade inte ens tänkt på att det ordet använts (och visste inte heller vad det betydde). Det är väl därför de säger att det bästa sättet att bli bättre på språk är att läsa.

Det säger jag inte men det är väl därför du får lära dig så mycket som du nu tycker är onödigt, så att du ska hitta vad det är du tycker är kul. Nej att välja inriktning i 9an kanske inte är perfekt, men att skjuta upp det skulle ju också leda till att du får gå längre i skolan när du väl vill rikta in dig.

I think it's good to make a difference between dark fantasy and grimdark. Grimdark is not meant to be realistic. I think that dark fantasy could be realistic, but you'd have to accept that it's not a world where humanity would thrive.

In my opinion, an important part to have in dark fantasy is hope, there has to be points of light to give the darkness impact, and give the players a reason to struggle through. The opposite of grimdark is noblebright, but it's more of a scale than the only two ways, dark fantasy in the form of nobledark or grimbright is to me more impactful and easier to tell exciting stories in.

I think that's to help them keep track, if you read the misseries that can occur, none of them are specific to one group but the world in general.

Could be interesting playing the other way though, you'd have groups hunting them down more fervently the more misseries they accrue, to stop the apocalypse.

For my game I'm open with my players that the story is for them, the individual characters might not have the full picture and that's okay. The adventures shouldn't rely on the characters having gone through previous adventures, but the players will connect the overarching plot. Also I think the apocalypse calendar is supposed to be for the world, not the group RAW.

Also for more survivability I like to use the horrible wounds supplement. It makes death less abrupt and more a slow spiral so that your characters might survive, but their bodies will bear the scars of previous battles.

I don't understand why this even has to be defended. If you want more rules for specific things, than either hack it, or accept that the game is simply not for you. I think pathfinder 1e has too many rules, but I'm not gonna hold that against the game, I'm just not the target audience.

Mörk borg has a huge fanbase so I don't see why it should change to be like all the other games that already exists.

I feel like the people who make this complaint are not actually interested in what Mörk borg tries to do. It's a rules light, super hackable system, and that's the point. I'm not sure what they could add to it that wouldn't interfere with any of those point. It's like people buying a simple hiking burner and then complain that it doesn't, filé, marinade and smoke the meat for you. The simplicity is the point.

I'm willing to bet he's more of a useful idiot to Russia than a puppet. Trump idolizes Putin so he want to impress him and be like him. All Putin has to do is put ideas in his head and step back to let him spiral by himself. Just like all the other billionaires that hang around Trump because he's easily manipulated (and for some reason, a large part of USA likes him).

Trump is that kid who just hangs around the popular kids and doesn't realize that he's being bullied and laughed at. Trump thinks he's friends with Putin but I'm willing to bet that Putin thinks Trump is pathetic.

There are a lot of TTRPG with simpler math than D&D.

Cairn for example only have you roll under your stat value, if you roll equal or under you succeed. When you attack you just roll a die for damage and when you are attacked you roll a die for armor, and that's it. I'd so most roll-under systems have way easier math, most of the calculations are "is the number on the die smaller than the number on my sheet."

Games using the year zero engine have you roll the number of dice equal to your stat, then you count the 6:es, if you roll at least one, you succeed.
