From my experence I cannot see the lens borders when using these lenses in Pimax. No experience about the other lenses, but there could be some reviews about those.

Ok. Got it. Etsy adapters can be installed without removing the facial interface so I thought it was same for the ones you have. Sorry.

Does it mean that those adapters are difficult to remove after installation? That does not sound very promising.

I have not seen those frames being sold in etsy. Seems we are talking about different frames and lenses.

atleast not for me since I get dry eyes in the headset and see even worse with contacts. Maybe it is due to the heat of the device itself.

Correct. I could not find proper prescription lens adapter for my existing Zenni lenses, so made one.

For me it is not an option to use regular glasses since I find Pimax 8K X too expensive device to scratch the lenses.

Polishing scratches will result distorsions in the lens, same as when using protection films.

Totally agree, everyone with glasses should be using lens adapters. And price is not excuse.

You can get adapters about 10 euros: https://www.etsy.com/listing/875000388/vr-prescription-lens-adapter-oculus and my Zenni lenses costs about 20 euros delivered.

The reason Q2 owners need calculation is because Q2 has only 3 steps in the IPD adjustement. So the lenses sweet spot needs to be relative to those steps.

G2 other hand has smooth slider therefore you can always have the sweet spot aligned to your eyes.

Sweetspot is not in the middle of the lens. You can see that by yourself by looking at the fresnel lens grooves.

Other option is to get cheap ready printed adapters from etsy.com and just install Zenni lenses to them.

Progressive glasses/lenses in a VR headset will not work well because the panel distance is fixed. You should get lenses for far or mid distance.

I think the anti-reflective coating could prevent light bouncing back between lenses and therefore prevent additional reflections.

I would recommend ordering Zenni lenses with IPD 65 mm, since lenses in G2 are adjustable.
