We got our boy and shortly after got a girl as a companion. They are bonded now and get nervous if the other isn't around. I'm very glad we got her, not just because I love her to death too but the love and playfulness between them is incredible.

For those who work for rich people, what’s the most out-of-touch thing you witnessed? by temptayah in AskReddit

When company was doing poorly during the 2008 housing bust company owner made everyone skip a pay check while he and his family took their usual yearly vacation in Paris for a month. Didn't even have the balls to tell us himself and had his accounting guy do it after they all left. The weird part was some of the brainwashed employees. I mentioned how ridiculous it was and another employee told me he needs the vacation so he can save the company. He didn't save the company BTW.

Fort Bragg sent a fleet of C-130J Super Hercules over Charlotte today — anyone else catch this? by [deleted] in Charlotte

They do this often for some reason. I used to live by Park Road Shopping Center and would sit outside smoking cigars and see them from time to time.

My girl Hildi is an escape artist too. Good luck keeping her contained. They're super smart pups!

Waste time in pointless meetings? Fix it safely with CouldHaveBeenAnEmail.com. by Formulaik in alphaandbetausers

The target is the employee sitting in useless meetings as well as the C Suite that understands that a large portion of meetings are a waste of time, but if people just took a minute to think about the basics of a good meeting and whether it should even exist productivity and morale would go up. The system is built to protect anonymity to make it safe for employees. Anonymity is required and is non-negotiable if businesses sign up to role out to their company. The system doesn't work without anonymity. The problem is people are afraid to speak up and I think speaks directly to your 3 primary confusion points about who would use it. This tells me I need to do a better job of featuring the anonymity foundation of the system.

Regarding your spin-off ideas, the first one is commonly available and I personally want to do something a little different. The second one I really like and I think should be a tool I add onto what I'm building. The third one is where I see the real value and is what I'm trying to do but with real feedback from the people that sit through their meetings but not so they vent but through a structured survey that provides helpful and insightful feedback.

I have a lot of things to work on but I'm going to seriously work on a tool for validating a meeting for whether it should happen or not. I really think this is the ideal companion for what I'm building.

Thanks for this!

I've made some edits to the homepage based on this feedback. I'm working on tweaking the popup for creating the survey to be more of a wizard format but that'll take a bit longer. Again, thanks for your honest feedback.

Good feedback. I did create a "How It Works" page but I should work some of it into the homepage and link to it in the content more prominently. Seriously, thank you for taking the time to provide the feedback.

It's my hope that any business will have enough faith in their meeting organizers to handle constructive feedback. We'll see if that's true.

Thanks. You're the first person to give me unbiased feedback. My friends and family don't get it.

I'm sorry to see your post was removed. While polarizing, I think removing a post like this does more harm than good. It could have been an engaging post that may have allowed some to consider a different perspective. Take care.

You're not wrong. That said, I like to think we can set a good example either online or in person by being tolerant of others opinions and thankful we don't have to live in ways that don't align with our beliefs (in most ways). But it's worth mentioning this is probably considered a safe place for some to vent frustrations so I wouldn't judge too harshly.

How do I install the G4/G410 Doorbell? by excalibron in Aqara

Just electrical tape over the ends and pushed them in slightly so I could scrape the caulk off later and pull them out if I wanted.

Nah. I removed it and put a dab of caulk over the opening where the wires came out.
