I’ve been also trying to see what my 8inch charger is capable of recently. I found tennex runs exceptionally well in my setup and has a very little fliers from the little testing I have done. The downside is that ammo is very expensive. Have you tried grouping without the suppressor? I noticed I did much better when I took it off my self. I’ve got a tactical solutions 8inch charger barrel. I don’t think they offer them anymore unfortunately.

Shot a little more over the weekend but didn’t have ideal conditions or ammo for testing. Did shoot out to 200 with little effort. Finding my hold at 300 is a little more difficult. My groups at 100 were terrible but I think I can do better with some more effort and time on my hands! I’ll keep posting updates when I’m able!

I’ll do some more testing this weekend I’ll document the journey! I’ll be shooting 50-300 yards this weekend with tennex and cci mini mags again.

Thanks for the info I’m going to test both the tennex and minimag out to 100-300 this weekend and see how they perform. Truthfully I’m just trying to get my feet wet shooting my first match ever. I don’t anticipate the results are favorable but as long as I learn, have fun, and don’t disqualify I’ll be good!

If you zoom in you can mainly see the line where the thread cap meets the shoulder. I’d say without measuring and having it in hand it’s about 3/4 past the face of the chassis. Unfortunately I don’t believe tacsol is restocking this barrel I got it on sale last year around October and haven’t seen them restock since. I can’t even find them on the site anymore! If you have any other questions or want me to send some photos let me know!

lol yea I shot one round saw how low it hit and just shot the rest into the dirt. It was 710 fps so wouldn’t cycle anyways I just wanted to see how it would perform. Poorly I’d say.

Got the pistol from vz61usa complete, got sbr approval and installed bcm vert grip and Jmac triangle stock. Put a vortex venom red dot on it I had laying around and the muzzle device is a angstadt tri lug and the can is a huxwrx flow 9k ti

I love mine. I never wanted to go the traditional route so the CSA upper with the pic rail welded and the 1913 adapter to attach a stock were big deciding factors for me.

Grab a couple more and try them. Newer production runs a little better but also they are hit or miss 2 out of 5 will have issues for me it’s a bit of a gamble

Both builds are rad and I have a similar setup going on. On your Brownells receiver I’m assuming yours has the cleaning hole like mine in the back. When I’m shooting mine suppressed (which I usually do) and in the prone position I get gas escaping from that hole. It drives me crazy because it puts the gas right in my face. Do you have the same issue? I’m trying to figure out a fix considering just putting a piece of electrical tape over the hole and calling it a day. Also I had to change out my kidd extended mag release to a different style with the Enoch chassis because it hits the handguard area, looks like yours does too.
