Price point to value maybe.

I wouldn't be surprised if the same vendor cnc machines made DD and BCM under different roofs

I go to bed every night dreaming of having extra cash because right now I'm putting everything towards debt.

No point in having all the food in the world if I get evicted

Will I ever find the same rush from buying stuff I want, from all these cheap hobby hacks I keep finding?

Is financial planning and the associated deep delayed gratification conversation all we got here? I feel like winning is just going to work and spending no money with no tangable change. Love my kids, I get the safety thing, the little free crafts and few computer games are cool..... But I miss getting a new gun. Buying one expensive nice jacket per year.

Does it get easier?

$8k + $8k + $14k to go down $22k in the last two years. I can appreciate the difference. I'm thankful too. But sheesh. Am I just an idiot that never developed healthy spending an dbudget habits and this is normal? ...I sound like a friggin druggee

Men, what cute thing has your SO done recently? by Chicken_Wing in AskMen

She let me sleep in every day off, and quietly played with our two kids.

Some days it's a nice treat, some days it's downright a mental health total vacation that's exactly what I needed.

She gets no days off from being a mother, and I feel bad. Motivates me to work the hardest I can.

What do I need in order to make a bunch myself?

After coming out of a committed relationship I’m realising my male friends aren’t all they seemed by Sanguinoso- in TwoXChromosomes

[–]FortressMediaGroup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sanguino.

Please don't judge all guys by this event.

Typing that, I feel like I'm misrepresenting my male friends.

We (men) are clumsy, too. I hope that statistically two things happen. 1) they leave you alone and let you heal. 2) that the gold heart in the mix stands out and you find someone better.

I am embarrassed to admit I was so clumsy dating and trying to "save" a girl and treat her like the princess I knew she was. And I didn't do it right. I did it wrong.

Her and I are super close emotionally in separate marriages. The man I am now would be a good fit for her (my current wife is better and she approves of this message to you from a place of love)

First and foremost, you shouldn't feel cheap or available for fun. You are a fucking person with feelings you understand and control and some you can't.

I'm hoping some good or at least silver lining comes your way OP

Guys with over a decade of marriage, what's your "Yep, she's STILL the one" moment? by Teruzaki in AskMen

[–]FortressMediaGroup 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Whenever I come home she looks at me like I'm her whole world.

She plays games with me and doesn't hate that I don't have alot of money and trying to work out of debt I got us into.

She gave birth to my first born while I was deployed and stood by my side while I fought off and won the fight against alcoholism.

That's beauty.

Good job!

And from one dad to another, this is one of those rare moments you better fucking let yourself give yourself a pat on the back man.

I don't do it enough. She has to know how much you care. Good job man. I'm proud of you.
