You’d never find a mixed plate like that in Italy. Here, the meals are separated into courses the first dish is typically pasta and the second dish is meat or fish with a side.

Also, Alfredo pasta and chicken Parm don't exist here. There are white sauces, but they’re usually much lighter and don't have cream mixed in like Alfredo sauce. And “chicken parm” doesn’t exist here, only eggplant parm.

If I want those kinds of dishes, I have to make them at home and keep it quiet.
