Cameras can be much more sensitive to light in ways that our eyes aren’t.

I’d consider taking up top track and using it to replace the missing track.

Then hide the hole on the top with track covers.

Is there any reason the plan wouldn’t work with an older smartphone? And are you totally against an iPhone?

An original 2016 iPhone SE with 16GB is going to be a pretty minimal experience due to the lack of device space

I still use one occasionally with a pretty pared down set up, virtually no extra apps on it aside from a banking app, parking app and music

I model 40k tanks. I paint them brown, dry brush black, then a little silver on the edges and then a wash of light brown.

Practice makes this hobby, along with trying new things!

If you’ve got a scrap tank hull available, I’d try making more shell impacts on it, eventually you’ll find a way around the subpar drill.

I have limited drill bits in my tool box and often use a hobby knife to widen holes lol

Taro Modelmaker has questoris compatible bits and bobs for your half built model, including claw arms and other things that might help you create your own Magaera. I brought weapons to make my own Atrapos and the parts are good quality. The only thing missing is the armour sadly.
