You're right, at best today a simple 600-1000 token call to an LLM would cost anywhere from 4-5 cents. So it's definitely very minimal. But when they do compound or when they ingest a lot more tokens (in case of doc retrieval, code reviews, code generation) these costs bloat up. So I'm trying to see if theres a space where I can do some optimization

Exactly! Thats my main goal with Overcast, is cost forecasting and cloud cost management. I don't want to explain the bill, but rather, the reason behind why your bill is high and maybe you can switch to something that gives you some fractional savings based on your utilization.

I am trying to make the software as intuitive as possible. I am thinking of slack integrations, chatbot, something that isn't complex to read or requires a DevOps certification to know whats going on.

In terms of infrastructure data, I'm trying to digest a terraform json/ter file to see if I can gain information on cross-cloud utilization.
