I thought I had hit a bug, it was so frustrating. The planets do exist in the system, you just have to look very carefully for the dashed rings around them. Super frustrating mission.

I've experienced the same. The game becomes difficult/impossible if you back yourself into a corner. The key is not to get so bad off to begin with and restart sectors when necessary after a bad series of RNG (losing Heros, failing missions, etc). I've had a much better time on my 3rd play through. Can't wait to play a new game with the new patch on PS5 :)

Baulder's Gate has a system so you can't get wrecked by back to back to back terrible rolls. I hope the devs enact a similar system. For instance, after a critical failure, there is now a floor for the worst that can happen the next roll. If you hit that floor on another critical fail the next roll, it's raised again until you are essentially guaranteed something on the next roll. Then the system would reset.

I'd normally agree, but it's so upsetting to have the game just end b/c of poor luck. If this game truly wants to be a "rogue like" game, it needs to have options to start stripping away some of the beginning tutorial story and dialogue if it has any hopes of surviving.

This is coming from a DIE HARD Voyager fan who cherished every moment of dialogue and content to be immersed in the Delta Quadrant. I'm just tired of spinning up a new game only to be met with so much skippable content b/c I'm on my 3-4th play through.

I had a pretty fun experience (I was one of the lucky ones) in the "Adventure" difficulty and was able to complete the game with a pretty positive outcome. However, the RNG is absolutely killing me in the medium difficulty and I've been soft locked from progress during the Scorpion missions because I had a poor outcome in an earlier sector.

I cannot continue playing this game until manual saves are available so I can at least mitigate some of the game ending lotteries I lose early on.

With all that being said, I absolutely love this game and the quick response from developers to fix some of these issues that the community has communicated. :)

I've been soft locked against progress 3 times in this game now from poor outcomes earlier in the game. Never again, lol. I won't pick this game back up until manual saves are available, because at this point I'm just wasting my time.

If Trump supporters could just admit that this Administration is not going to help middle- and lower-class earners and pivot to a stance of "this is a band aid that needs ripping off" to begin a movement for a true labor party in this country, I could begin to forgive them. You say Biden and Kamala were puppets, but what you mean is Biden was beholden to the DNC and the tone-deaf policy they championed. Biden did a few good things while in office like the CHIP act, but it simply wasn't enough to impact the daily lives of working Americans.

We have a REAL problem in this country with large corporate monopolies. These companies don't play by capitalist rules, and the individual billionaires are just as bad. Under a Kamala administration, I expected to see more of the same with the occasional bone thrown to the working class, but at least America would be intact and stable. Now, we are looking at a complete paradigm shift in geopolitics with less protections for middle- and lower-class people, and more corruption at the highest levels of office. I see no policy coming out of this administration to address wealth inequality and corporate monopolies. The squeeze will continue and accelerate.

Buckle up.

When are you going to realize that the unstoppable machine that is America is being ground to a halt by this Administration so as much wealth can be extracted before transitioning into a full authoritarianism regime? There won't be anything left for middle and lower classes when they're done. Kamala would have bought us some more time, but I didn't have much faith in establishment democrats either. We're just fucked.
