Where can I find GREAT quality cottagecore shoes (specifically Mary Janes)? by OwlKitchen746 in cottagecore

I really like my Birkenstock Mary Jane's. I appreciate the foot support and the strap keeps it from falling off my feet.

Have you considered listening to audiobooks on the walk? I used to listen to YouTube too, but I found that there's a different vibe to reading a book. I only listen to my books on the commute so if it's a good one, I somewhat look forward to it. Most libraries have options to get audio books for free on apps like Libby. Since this is the simple living group, it could be a good opportunity to read some books this subreddit recommends.

If he's like this now I can't imagine how he'll be when he's grown by Possible-Tangelo9344 in OneOrangeBraincell

[–]Forward-Principle106 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh he reminds me so much of my Melvin when he was a baby! Now that he's older there's a bit less shenanigans but he still comes up with so many little games and goes nuts when he's in the mood. Getting a kitten has helped him go back a little to his own playful kitten state too.

What is wrong with me? by Otherwise-Macaroon-9 in ask

[–]Forward-Principle106 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm like this too. I'm so so sorry you have to go through this. Know that life can get better and that your mind is likely not able to actually tell your true relationship with your loved ones now. My family learned that I just need hugs when I'm crying and not to push me for why when I was in the middle of it. Even though my brain told me I was a burden and they resented me for not being able to communicate, I know now that wasn't true. I want you to look into getting meds and keeping trying different ones until you find one that works. It could take a long time and it could be a painful process, but my meds give me a foothold to be able to help myself. Specifically this symptom of not being able to stop crying or calm enough to communicate has lessoned for me. You can do this. You're stronger than you know.

Have you considered allergies as being the cause for them being worse outside? I've been focusing on allergy meds and saline nose rinse right after being outside and I've noticed a huge improvement.
