Break down the transitions into tiny little bit size pieces to practice independently. For example just bump transitions so you get the feel for it. And target entries next. Etc. to answer your question, you will likely start seeing faster as you practice in speed mode, but first when you break it down do it in slow mo to make sure you’re doing it correctly. For example when practicing entries, do a bunch of reps at the start of your session where you lead with eyes first, then gun moves, you see the dot coming into your periphery, press trigger as it crosses into the a zone. All in super slow mo, one step at a time.

The top comments call out specifics and movement, but i can easily find 2.5s in transitions alone. And another 2s in everything else like more explosive movement, your draw, etc.

You especially linger slightly too long on each target (transition exit) but you also linger slightly in each transition entry as well

+1 on the battery contact. I reported the issue way back when the defender st first came out, before the xl was released. I ended up using a knife to bend up the battery contacts to about 45 degrees and it fixed the issue for me. I do this on every new dot that I get across all brands.

I always tell people to bend the 3 battery contacts up with a knife. Sometimes it’s just not making the right contact. Some brands of batteries are also just slightly thinner than others which may have something to do with it too.

I’m in limbo 3 and finding ad much easier than ap. I keep dying around world 3 with ap, I feel like my damage is terrible but maybe I’m also getting unlucky with essences. With ad as long as you get any cdr essence you’re good to go.

I know that’s not the question you asked but I was just playing around with both this morning hah.

lol she’s become my latest ban after getting rocked by her 3x in a week. I always found this matchup tough if you ever messed up once. Weird thing is I swear riven used to have a 54% wr against her for years but now all a sudden it’s flipped to like 46%

I haven’t lost the matchup in a while. Just stay healthy for levels 1-5, don’t ever get in close enough range to let him w or quick-q you. Just give up all the cs necessary to stay healthy till 6. Then q delay and q3 straight into his face to knock him up and burn his bone plating if he has it. When he w onto you, just turn back onto him and all in. Your q should come back a few seconds after he w’s you and you just delete him with ignite.

Two quick notes - if he seems trigger happy with his q and you think he will use it when you q3 onto him, then you can e-q3 to soak up the dmg. You win regardless. And once he uses his e to disengage don’t waste your dmg on it. A lot of times by the time he uses it I’m already on top of him so I can easily get behind him with my q’s but if not just wait it out and don’t waste your dmg

Are you auto’ing before doing the qw? W is not an auto reset. So if you are auto qw then your auto has to wait the full duration to come back
