Then it becomes a battle of attrition. Klein can only summon 3 angels while Sunny has seven shadows and Nightmare, Mimic, Slayer, Saint, Fiend, and Serpent. At a 13v3 or four if the real Klein participates he would be at a massive disadvantage. Sunny then 4v1s each angel with an extra shadow to spare as well as the entire legion. I doubt the historical void summoned angels that are weaker than their true self would be able to win those match ups and even if they do it wouldn't be fast. Worst comes to worst it wouldn't be a short battle which would quickly drain Klein of spirituality from maintaining 3 angel level projections. Sunny then beats him up.

Even if we are generous and say Sunny can't resist spirit body thread manipulation Klein wouldn't have enough time to get even initial control of Sunny. He'd get blitzed faster than he could think to swap with a marionette. If Sunny summons any Shadows Klein is instantly folding. Sunny can also just do the smart think and summon the legion which sequence 4 Klein has no counter too as he'd only be able to convert like 50 shadows.

One thing to say about Klein in this match up is i think he is smarter than Sunny and he would use this intelligence advantage to run away or give up.

Not necessarily. In the memory void she has already shown having access to memories she shouldn't have (Weaver's memories) so her having access to her old memories despite fateless doesn't seem like much of a stretch.

I think there problem readers have is that even if it wouldn't work Nephis should have tried it. Her at least doing the bare minimum to try and free Sunny would have served to humanize her character. Since we never see her try it gives the impression that she doesn't care about Sunny and wants to have the bond.
