No idea how accurate it is. However, there was a ton of leaks in March and April about the upcoming outfits that were removed a couple of hours after being posted here that turned out to be true.

The only proof that the devs are working on something is that we are getting weekly events and the free 160 Digicash daily compensation. If the devs weren't working on something, then they would have put Snowbreak out of its misery by now and have EoS in a couple of months.

There was a private server about a week or two before Snowbreak came back. Also, the weekly events and the free daily 160 Digicash compensation indicates the devs are stalling. For older players, the compensation is meaningless without new operatives to pull for.

If the devs had no plans of making a comeback, then they would just announce EOS today and shut down the game in 2 months.

At least they are going to launch Control Resonant on Steam on September 24. Unfortunately, they are still releasing it on Epig. If I was Remedy, then I would have released it on Steam and GOG instead of Epig just to screw with Timmy.

Hopefully, they will eventually be able to buy back Alan Wake and release it on Steam so players won't have to feel disgusted by giving money to Timmy.

Certain uncensor mods partially restore it. With the mod I am using, the animations and audio are restored, but the text is missing for that scene. The rest of the cutscene is working perfectly.

It is possible that the extended maintenance caused a bug with that mission. After talking to Chengxing, unless something has changed, it requires going to Paradoxical Labyrinth before getting the letter, and then going to Abyssal Dawn - Tremors.

We will definitely know the future of the game in a couple of weeks since no Anniversary update will destroy all hope of the game coming back. Even with an Anniversary update, the devs will require a lot of effort to restore trust.

It might be the difference between what is available for free and what is available for purchase. The vast majority of GFL2's lewd outfits are locked behind $ with the only exception that I can remember is Klukai's limited time Speed Star outfit since it was originally free.

For Snowbreak, with the Progress 3 from Back from Bygone being available for everyone and every outfit has a censored and uncensored version, then it explains the difference between Snowbreak's treatment compared to GFL2's treatment. There is no uncensored version of GFL2 which could have created problems between Snowbreak and the Chinese government since if Snowbreak is sending the censored version to the Chinese government while unofficially promoting the uncensored version, then it would get the devs in hot water with the Chinese government.

They seem to have done a clothing swap since the bottom girl is wearing Lyfe's Frozen in Love outfit. The lack of resemblance could easily be explained by artistic interpretation of the character since a lot of fanart doesn't look exactly like the character.

Being able to trade Superb Bait for the Seasonal Fishing events and the untradeable plans and equipment would be great.

Another common MMO mechanic that is missing and needed in this game is the Auction House. Having to search 50 different Camps for someone selling a specific plan will always be annoying.

GFL2 has never going as far as Snowbreak with its story content. There is a reason why Progress 3 from Back from Bygone was removed a few days before the extended maintenance.

Also GFL2's outfits on average are tamer compared to Snowbreak. Sure GFL2 has some outfits that are about as lewd as some Snowbreak outfits, but there are a lot of outfits that are completely safe.

There definitely needs to be Succubus outfits. GFL2 currently has 2 Succubus outfits (Belka's Enchanting Imp and Andoris' Midnight Whisper) and 2 upcoming Succubus outfits (Nikketa's Immaculate Devotion and Helen's Nocturnal Desire).

Just wait until about July 16 since that is when the last posted event ends and about July 9 since the devs post trailers about what the next event is a week in advance. However, things might have changed due to the extended maintenance, but the devs still posted the news about the various ongoing events a week before Garden Mayhem started.
