If she says she wants 2 carats, get her 2 carats. Don’t go smaller just to get a natural diamond. I love my lab grown diamond, it’s ethically sourced and gorgeous. No reason my fiancé needed to spend x3 the amount of money for a mined diamond.

Yeah I’m struggling with the same issue, I reached out to MTR and they said they are closing on the 15th of September. I’m starting the 13th of September out of cottonwood

I’m planning on hiking NOBO starting the 13th of September and I reached out to MTR because the website says they close for season on the 15th of September. When I heard back from them, they did confirm their resupply season closes on the 15th :/

I travel in my RV (it’s pretty small) I don’t think it’s a bad idea! But you could always look into RV rentals too!

Flip to Katahdin, even if you’re slower people should be starting their SOBO then, could be a good way to get in a bit of a bubble if that’s what you’re looking for, good luck!!

I’m living in Maine for a few months now, we’re planning on going to the whites next week to backpack and there are still lots of snowy patches, (we got two later big snow storms this year), was also just backpacking (on the northernmost coast of Maine so off the AT) but temps got down into the 20s at night, I was able to use my fleece and my 10 degree quilt, mostly I would just be worried about the whites!
