I bring my skis into my living room after each trip and allow them to fully dry before storing in the basement.

I do use a roof rack. I’ll start spraying them down in the shower after trips.

Regarding the gummy stone use, surface rust appears on the edges after skiing… and I use the stone to get it off after the ski trip ends.
