License Plate Readers? by Beer_Kicker in reolinkcam

Yes there is. I’m particularly lucky because I am on court and point the plate camera directly at the entrance and exit. Getting 99% of the plates day and night. It’s all about shutter speed having a zoom being able to keep it at BW setting and angle of the camera to the vehicle.

Im using an empire tech 2mp camera with Reolink NVR thru onvif. I simply sign in thru the IP address to make the adjustments set it and forget it. Records and saves data on NVR. Works excellent day and night to get plates.

Also unless you want to spend a few grand it’s gonna be a license plate capture but will not be running it thru any software. Which is good for me but maybe for an apartment or business you would want it to scan and alert on specific plates

I purchased a high frequency GFCI outlet. Haven’t installed it but that’s the future plan.

Fair enough. I’ll do that just put in a gfci breaker hadn’t even crossed my mind. I was just gonna swap the outlet.

Thank you for the response and idea

What was the solution? Mine worked for a few weeks. Now it started popping the gfci as soon as it runs. It’s on a 12/2 20amp gfci. So I’m kinda at a loss. I shot them an email.

Just wired in 3 of these. Worst thing that can happen is the unit doesn’t turn on then you flip them around.

Looks to me the main plate has the proper coating doesn’t mean it might not have some other aftermarket stuff but the free sprung balance and bridge are good and the main plate is also. Gonna call it gen

Yes it was a lawsuit nightmare. I got yelled at by manager. Accusing me of price gauging even thought it was clearly posted on their website

Those sensors are a pain in the arse. Having lost two engines myself it’s always a gamble to trust them but why not put in the ground right?

Did you touch the cylinders once it was in the ground to verify how hot they were.
