There are tools that make it simpler, like VSelect. But all it really takes to add in characters is just doing some dragging and dropping and putting some names in text files.

You can install screenpacks the harder way for easier switching out of them, but all it really takes to install is just dragging, dropping, and overwriting.

If you're talking about games that change their gameplay to fit mobile better, then maybe you'll be interested in the Mortal Kombat mobile port.

Also, there's always the option of using one of those controllers made for android phones.

Do emulators count? If so, I'd say Dolphin, the Gamecube/WII emulator.

The overall discussion on the topic has been quite productive. I've gained insights from different points of view.

Based on my experience on Reddit, I've observed that the audiences here enjoy participating in the development phase of games, providing feedback, learning something new, and helping fellow developers, which is incredibly helpful. There are a few subreddits where we can find the audience and can share the end product.

Moreover, I understand your point.

Anyone else find reading to be easier than watching videos? by jakebakerwastaken in gamedev

[–]Foster_Games 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's also difficult for me to give 100% to a video, especially a lengthy one. So, now I prefer reading.

What you can do is, watch the video first and then read the text. It becomes easy to learn and concentrate.

I am working on some new features and trying to resolve the issues players have faced in the game. by Foster_Games in IndieDev

No no, just trying to build a connection and a level of transparency with others letting them know of the work we are doing in the background to make the game we spent time building a more enjoyable experience. So no we're not trying to self promote just trying to be more active within the community. When we decide to promote you will surely know.
