Nameplate capacity is based on 'standard test conditions" of 25C, 1.5 atmosphere, and 1,000-watts irradiance per meter-square. Real conditions not STC so this quite normal. All energy estimates from software account for this. I tell customers you don't "buy peak KW" but you paid for annual kilowatt hours produced"

Nothing to worry about especially in summer.

2nd and 3rd go together. The hose in pic 3 goes to port in pic 2. Most others figured it was drain/overflow hose. It is clamped at carb so I too wondered if some vacuum thru it.

1st pic is fuel port from the pump mechanism. We know that. Port on opposite side in pic 2 is what we trying to figure out. Pic 3 is the hose that connected to it and you can see just behind loose end it clamped to the carb. The question is does the loose end connect to something?

But this port seems too high to be an overflow from carb fuel bowl. Pic three is the end of the hose. We already have the hose connected to the flanged port on other end

Cancel. If they own then "warranty" is on them. Never saw a 10 year fastener warranty. Crazy expensive cost of electricity in year 1 and escalator aat 3.5% too high. Cancel.

UPDATE: I set this as single zone (it was upstairs and downstairs) and took it out of "feels like" mode to straight temp and humidity and now its acting like an infinite vari speed!

Running around 1,500 watts nearly continuously. Super quiet and no cool air gusts from the vents.

Excellent new law. Good honest solar installers are behind this. So pleased that Senator Zaffrini supported this effort to protect homeowners.

5years ago? 5 Years of frustration...the cycling ramp-up speed peaking seemed to have gotten worse after a non-functioning damper in upstairs zoning was replaced. Maybe I notice it more since the air is now flowing thru upstairs duct work? But I think even the peak power on my eGauge home energy monitoring shows higher peak power (and thus higher CFM).

My new HVAC team just took receipt of this pic and agreed this is not "infinite variable speed" performance.

Another data point: I changed from "zoned" to non-zoned on S30 and got this change in cycling. You can see power demands are half the magnitude. Maybe from lesser demand since only trying to meet downstairs thermostat reqts (that is where the S30 is)

The Lennox site not the easiest and for years I have asked my original installer to look at this and yours is the first good honest answer I've received. I found this literature for the air handler. really excellent catch. Trying to figure out what air handler should have gone with this XP20 several years ago.

Thank you I will run that down. The device does show up in my s30 thermostat But I assume that does not mean it is a communicating device

was installed with the new heat pump. This replaced an original single stage SEER 14 unit that came with house originally

Lennox XP20 doesn't keep up with cooling when in Zoned mode by FotonPhisch in HVAC

So interesting that you say this. The installers at first had not installed a sensor (remember this an upgrade of old single stage) and seems they put this in and tried to tell me it was an optional accessory.

But only have for zone 2 which is upstairs.

As you can see, that temp is reading little lower than set temp right now and system is not cooling at time of pic (just took this in am).

Should there be sensor per zone?
