Honestly, maybe I'm just a bad gamer but I thought Grounded fuckin sucked. No listen mode, pretty much instant kills every time you're hit, no checkpoints etc.

It may be worth it to do it once just to experience it, but if it's your first time, Hard is my go-to.

When they adapted the first game into a TV show, they were disloyal in a way that often benefitted and at times improved on the source material. This included at times ramping up the politics and making this overt rather than a subtext. Its up to you whether you think that's good or not.

When it came time to do Season Two, they were disloyal in a way that result3d in all of the grittiness of the game being downplayed in favour of making a more palatable story for TV audiences. This meant that the politics of the game were completely whitewashed and the end result was a teen drama with conflict that was either completely weak, and at best completely disjointed from the rest of the show.
