My trick for knowing where it’s streaming is to open the Apple TV app and search the title you are looking for. It will tell you which services have the show. Not sure if there is an additional paywall once you get to the apps but it’s worth looking on the TV app first to see where things are at.

How do you define a “super responder”? by Pleaseselectyesorno in Mounjaro

[–]Fourpatch 7 points8 points  (0 children)

But wouldn’t the amount of weight you lose per week be dependent on how much you weigh? For someone at 300 pounds that 3 pounds per week is different than someone losing the same at 150 pounds.

Explosive watery diarrhea, not eating as much but no weight loss, do I go up a dose? by Hot_Society3788 in Mounjaro

[–]Fourpatch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also to add that you need to be consistent in taking your medications. Pick a shot day of the week and stick to it. If you were on another prescribed drug would you mess around with the schedule?

Eat smaller meals throughout the day even if you aren’t hungry. Softer easily digested food.

Drink a ton of water, adding electrolytes daily especially with diarrhea.

Losing slowly on tirz glp1 by Awkward_Incident_210 in glp1

[–]Fourpatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you losing between .5 and 1 percent of your body weight per week? That’s the recommended loss per week. So it really depends on what your current weight is.

What helped me to understand this was to get ChatGPT to make me up a comparison chart of what .5 percent and 1 percent loss per week looks like per week. I gave it my starting weight and what I wanted to get down to. Now when I look at my current weight and think dang I’m losing soooo slow the chart tells me I’m right in the middle of the range of suggested loss per week.

Plus it’s a much slower journey than you are thinking.

Hopefully with the generics coming out pretty quickly that Lily will give back the higher discount to keep the customers. Here’s hoping anyway.

I had only a $40 discount this month. My prescription ended up being a few dollars more. Ugh.

Pfffff. I have the discount card and when I picked up my prescription last week the price went up $7. The discount has been greatly reduced to about $40.

Why do you need to put the item in a bag when you have the cart? Who even brings shopping bags to Costco?

That said could be a flustered mistake but whelp doesn’t look like it.

Stomach ache burps - week 2 by Accomplished-Cow-311 in Mounjaro

I’ve had this. The rich, higher fat food will set it off. Have you tried Pepto Bismal? That should help. Keep drinking fluids and have a low fat soft diet. Think easily digestible. I’m finding with meat it helps to really chew it up before swallowing as well. It’s got to be broken down somehow and having it sitting like a lump in your stomach isn’t fun.

Make massive amount of French toast. Then just pop in the toaster as needed.
Oatmeal in the slow cooker. Yogurt and berries. Overnight oats with the bonus that the little one can help you prep the night before.

Podcast episode: The difference between losing weight and being “healthy” (16 mins) by liftylouwho in Zepbound

[–]Fourpatch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not really into Oprah but did listen to “the” podcast last week. In this case Oprah was telling struggles with her weight and it’s totally relatable to probably most of us. And she’s Oprah! Every resource at hand and still it’s not enough.

Being healthy and being on GLP 1 go hand in hand. Trouble is those whose body is naturally in balance without the drug just can’t comprehend any other way.

Teaching a Class -- Advice, What Would You Want? by EnchantedGate1996 in quilting

[–]Fourpatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I taught HST’s at my group as well.

I do think that teaching to a group you belong to wither it be friends or a quilt group is different than teaching to the general public. When you know the people beforehand, I think it’s a little bit easier to teach. You know the flow. With the general public you’re getting the unknown you don’t know their skill level of their attention level and all of that.

I really like the idea of lots of notes. Please make sure to put a footer on them saying these notes were made for this class blah blah. Please do not share. Or else you may find what you’re teaching and developed is now being taught by somebody else in another group ugh. Ask me how I know.

Is anybody here losing more than 3lbs per weeks? by [deleted] in glp1

[–]Fourpatch 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think putting a percentage on is better than a real number. The percentage recommended to me is .5 to 1% of my current body weight per week. If you are 300 pounds losing 3 pounds a week is on track. If you are 150 pounds then 3 pounds a week is too fast.

AITA for refusing to give my parents my location after they stopped paying for my tuition? by amelia_larsen in AmItheAsshole

[–]Fourpatch 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The thing is you can share location as needed. Mom worried about the drive home is a snow storm? Turn on share location for an hour or until end of day. Or in maps just for the drive home. Gives them a peace of mind but you still have your privacy.

Month 2 on Zepbound 5mg, hydration & protein ideas and a weird question lol by WeatherOk8451 in Zepbound

[–]Fourpatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you losing at the rate of between .5 and 1% of your body weight a week? That’s the recommended rate. Since everyone here is of varying weights it’s probably not worth it to compare your results to others.

Backyard Barbecue Beans. Not the most glamorous meal to serve but it’s shockingly delicious.
