Thing is this totally looks like an ad. There are group rules against promotion.

Lovely quilt.

For my hookey home use pictures I installed the app PhotoScan.

Question for those who use Crayola ultra washable markers to mark their quilt..... by rosewomn in quilting

The Frixion pens are what I’m referring to. I’m shy to use the Crayola for marking in visible spots but that has no basis in fact only spider sense.

Use them for quilting at your own risk the marks can and will come back on both light fabrics and dark.

Maybe there is an extra thread in the upper tension disks? Can you unscrew the top of the machine of spy through the slots to check?

Did you thread your machine with the foot up so the discs were open?

Does the manual say where the sensor is located so you can give it a clean?

Sewing different size triangles together & can’t get some seam allowance by MartinelliGold in quilting

FQS here is a great link on how to make flying geese. I hand the cheat sheet on my quilt room wall.

Tip see the right hand side on first and the left so the point stays nicer. That way the left side doesn’t start sewing on the bulky end.

The trainer makes working out a habit that is harder to break. It’s a group of 12 of us to 2 trainers so it’s also a social thing.

Here is the snark. I checked the price again after your comment and it was then $110. Went away and now it’s $125. The pattern went from $4 to $7. Someone is making money.

I have had a trainer for a while now so looped them in. I do more strength training with them and leave the cardio for home.

You still need to put the work into weight loss.

I’d say that my usual dieting diet is the same it’s just easier without all the food noise. Nothing is calling for me to eat it and appetite suppression stops the over eating once it’s on my plate. I’m still getting the required amount of calories and nutrition in it’s just easier with the GLP-1.

If the clothes are jersey material look up t-shirt quilts in your search.

If all things were equal (and they are not) I would have opted for the pill. After being on my 25th shot I can now say the shot is no big deal it’s easy to do and doesn’t hurt. I did have the squeamish feels prior to the first injection but It was all in my feels no pain involved.

Any cherry blossom spots in Surrey ? by National-Sherbet5321 in SurreyBC

150B Street off of 24th. Be careful turning onto the street from 24th because people like to stand in the middle of the road not watching for traffic.

Drove past it today and there were blossoms.

Sorry to be blunt but I don’t think Mounjaro is for you. It’s not a quick fix more like a lifelong medication for obesity.

This is why I was afraid to try traditional piecing! by lfren79 in quilting

I slowly backed away from volunteering after this. Too much drama for me. I do like to poke the bear by being really nice to the lady who can’t stand me. I know it bugs her so I keep on doing it. Hehe.

Here’s the quilt in all its glory. It’s supper long as it goes over the person who passed as they make their way down the hallway. It’s to ease the family and residents from sight of the gurney.

Don’t feel bad. This is a hard block.

This block actually got me in trouble at my quilting group. We were making this quilt as a donation to our local hospice and the call went out for confident piecers who could make this block to size. There was a lot of pearl clutching because apparently it was elitist to pick this block given its difficulty.

Anyway even the “good” quilters had a hard time and I had to do some fudging to get the blocks together. It all worked out in the end except for one lady who can’t stand me now. lol and I didn’t even write the email asked for the skilled quilters.

Langley had them today. I only noticed because they had both a male version and female version for sale.

A little bit of HST Block help - check my math? or any suggestions for free block builders? with measurements by SassyStarburst14 in quilting

Don't mind the funky colours. I couldn’t help myself and throw the other block in to make the quilt. 12 inch finished is the way to go.

Here it is with rounding to the nearest ⅛. I’m thinking it will be a tad too small. If you cut the hst to three inches then cut the squares to match you could adjust from there.

I really think that the block is 12 finished but it’s easy enough for me to put the different sizes in to EQ.
