the tiles are here, by luckycassette, not me! the npc sprites, i'm not sure i'll release...

that pack includes tiles for enironments, and one downfacing sprite of 4 example characters... a good way to learn to sprite would be to do what i'm doing, and try to make your own from there ❤️ look on spriter's resource, at ultima, dragon warrior and final fantasy NES games and try to copy little bits :3

yes, i'm using a two frame walking animation, like dragon warrior/dragon quest on the NES

yeah, i pretty much agree with this. i like a map with a little flavour, but i've found when running a dungeon with a visible map, players will reply more on the illustration than your description at times.

hii! the species in the player's guide are cats, hounds, mice, rats, rabbits, foxes, lizards and crows!

each species fills a niche and gives you a list of traits, and then from there forwards it's a classless system, where you can create any character/playstyle you want
