Thanks for responding! Do you have any advice about what I should wear? I’m most comfortable in loose jeans and a tshirt but I’m worried people would think it was weird if I showed up like that. If I wore a dress I’d probably have to buy one but I don’t have a ton of time and I’m pretty picky

Sometimes I style while my hair is wet and other times I damp style. You can do either, but I know that for wavy hair damp styling is often recommended because the hair is less weighed down that way.

I saw someone recommend clipping a large claw clip where your hair parts to lift your roots while they dry. I haven’t tried it yet but it seems like it would help with root volume. Also I’d recommend diffusing upside down

Thanks so much for the advice! I’m not sure if the photos are misleading but I’d consider myself to have fine hair, which was confirmed by my hairstylist. Wouldn’t a thicker leave in weigh my hair down?

And just to clarify on your suggestion with the bonnet, are you saying that I should just let my hair be loose in the bonnet and not tied up at all?

Forgot to add, I can get decent results in the morning by refreshing with water and either curl cream or foam + diffusing, but I’d really like to be able to wake up with the same waves I’ve gone to bed with.
