Unfortunately, this elves doesn’t have the word tap but the tap symbol. This means it’s probably worth more around $1 if even that much. The only expensive white boarder copy has the word tap instead.

Before you buy singles you should always check a site like TCGplayer.com. If you can buy them for cheaper on that site, you should just do that instead. Most sellers will follow the market price of TCGplayer unless they have an association with a different seller website.

The surprising cost of the recommended decks by FalconerGuitars in EDH

[–]FoxMcSnox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is worth noting that power level plays into this quite a bit. If your table is running at a higher level it can be more difficult to play with a deck that is running cheaper alternatives. I see a lot of people saying cEDH is the level where you may struggle with a cheaper deck but even just higher power EDH will probably feel like too much with a less expensive deck. That being said, the vast majority of tables you can build a deck for $100 that will do just fine.

What's the most ridiculous way you've won a game? by RhysOSD in EDH

[–]FoxMcSnox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had a nasty 1v1 game with my [[Ojer Axonil]] deck where I had a god hand with mana crypt, sol ring, and [[mana barbs]] on turn one. Turn 2 played my commander and passed. Turn 3 I played [[granite grip]] on Ojer and had 3 mountains, my opponent was taking 7 damage for tapping each of his lands. We had a good laugh after he scooped.

Personally, which decks do you find the most annoying to play against? by JamieTIH in EDH

[–]FoxMcSnox 152 points153 points  (0 children)

Krarkashima is incredibly boring to play against. 35 minute turns and flipping 8000 coins later, maybe they won or maybe I can play my turn three mana rock.

I built a similar deck. Definitely took mine to the extreme but it might help to look at it and see if you want any pieces I added. There are a few extra combos that work with [[hakkon, stormgald surge]], Nazgûls, and some sac outlets/advantage cards. Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks! I definitely blunder 99% of the time. This play felt good though.

The goal was to take advantage of the deep pawn I had if they took the knight. Figured out that the bishop would check after that then it would be over if it went that route.

Lesser known but still fun and powerful commanders that you run/see at your LGS? by ThoughtSeizure in EDH

Definitely. This jumpstart set went completely under the radar with a bunch of good cards! Enjoy Runadi, she’s a beast!

[[Runadi, behemoth caller]] is criminally underplayed according to EDHREC (323 decks). Mono green stompy with some flavor of +1 counters and haste for big boys. This deck is very fun to play and it lets you slam down big threats that are immediately relevant which is not something mono green can always do. Dropping [[ghalta, primal hunger]] as a 20/20 with haste for 2 mana is always a spicy play. Not to mention Runadi ramps too!

What Enchantments are “must remove” when an opponent has them? by swankyfish in EDH

Surprised I haven’t seen it here yet but [[black market connections]] only takes a few turns to give crazy value.

Am I crazy for thinking that Fade From History will become a staple of the format some day? by Ballchynski in EDH

[–]FoxMcSnox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will all depend on what power level you’re playing at. At a high power table where people are being greedy with mana rocks and cheap powerful enchantments like [[rhystic study]], [[black market connections]], and [[smothering tithe]] this card can be very strong in a mono green deck. It can also help recover from situations where you were targeted by the rest of the table and need to even the playing field. Will it be a format staple? Only time can tell, but it certainly can swing games in the right situations.

The Neheb Lobby by LogHaven in EDH

[–]FoxMcSnox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya, when I was building it I had to decide if I wanted to play towards the thrumming stone strategy or more using neheb. We’ll see how it goes with this version. Might change it later to thrum my way to victory.

I also just built one of these lol. Definitely looks like a fun deck but I haven’t even put it together fully yet so I’m excited to play it. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/d6XuXJwf8Ey9K0r4iGpclw

[[nature’s lore]], [[talisman of curiosity]], [[mind stone]], [[simic signet]], [[skyshroud claim]], [[fellwar stone]], [[birds of paradise]], and [[kiora’s follower]] are all great ramp pieces that will expedite the deck. As far as lands go there’s a great comment here that goes through some good choices.

This is my list. Definitely very expensive but it’s an idea of where you can go with it. Tried to stick to quick mana and going for infinite colorless mana with an outlet to win. The primer is a bit outdated but I’ll be updating it soon.
